NICHE-designated hospital with a “Senior-Friendly” status. Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) is the leading nurse-driven program producing standards and resources to assist hospitals in improving the quality of care provided for patients 65 years and older.
Our advanced practice nurses continue to make an impact on the health of our community as evidenced by the Swedish Midwifery Group being named the only
“Triple Aim” Best Practice midwifery group in Illinois, recognized as improving population health and patient experience while reducing cost of care associated with midwifery services.
