Support Groups
Swedish Hospital is committed to improving the continued health of our patients, as well as that of the people who live and work in our community. As a result, we offer a number of support groups at the hospital and also provide space for community groups to meet. Information on each group is provided below, as well as who to contact to register.
Swedish Hospital is home to the following types of support groups:
Including Al-Anon, Overeaters Anonymous, S-Anon Couples/Groups and Sexaholics Anonymous.
Swedish Hospital’s Diabetes Community Center invites you to join a free support group for adults living with diabetes.
Learn about Swedish Hospital’s Joint Replacement Program. Strongly recommended if you are scheduled for any type of joint replacement surgery. Bring a friend, family member or caregiver!
If you are a woman undergoing cancer treatment, join us for this free two-hour beauty workshop.
Connect with other new moms in a comfortable setting, facilitated by midwives, psychologists, lactation consultants and other experts. Babies welcome!
Including a Chronic Pain Support Group and Trigeminal Neuralgia Support Group.
Stroke Club is a support group for both present and past day rehab patients as well as an open forum to the community.
Including T.E.A.M. Support Group: Weight Loss and Overeaters Anonymous.
